The new long life range of lamps is possible due to manufacturing improvements developed within OSRAM’s new and fully automated Xenon lamp factory. So you can rest assured that this is not simply a case of raising the warranty life on paper, there are clear technological improvements. XL lamps have increased warranty life up to 50% higher and are a direct replacement to the standard OSRAM XBO range or other manufacturer’s standard lamps
